[P-box] consiglio su monitor vga

Avendo già fatto precedendemente un errore su un cavo USB per la xbox vi 
chiedo cortesemente un consiglio su un aggeggio per utilizzare un monitor 
vga su xbox.
L'aggeggio è il seguente:

ma ho letto due notizie che vorrei da voi confermate:

The X2VGA converter will work on both PAL and NTSC Xboxes with all video 
encoder chips in Linux. However, it seems that Microsoft has disabled HDTV 
support for PAL boxes in their BIOS, so you cannot use it to play games on 
PAL boxes.


5. Microsoft disables the high-definition video output on the PAL version 
Xbox(only sold in Europe, Australia, NZ, Hong Kong etc.), so it cannot work 
normally with the X2VGA+. However, the Xbox consoles sold in North America, 
Japan, etc. which belong to the NTSC version, will work fine with X2VGA+. 
Please take note of this in advance. We will not accept exchange or refund 
for this cause.


Funziona solo per linux e non per i giochi. Confermate?

Posso fare qualche altra cosa (più semplice) per utilizzare un monitor VGA?
(Le scritte su tv sono per me troppo affaticanti...)
