Buondi' a tutti

Ciao a tutti. Marco

Well, I don't have a really long experience but on January 2010 I
installed OpenBSD in a Soekris 5501 wanting to run a Tor relay
(isomorphisme, https://isomorphisme.net:334/mrtg/). After three months
of strange hangs and virtual memory errors I changed to Debian and it
has been running non-stop until now. With a limit of 200 kb/s bandwidth
it takes about 300 mb of ram and a bit less of 10% of the CPU which I
think is quite good for such little board..

Sure I'd like ! I've finished a test version to use it in Thunderbird,
which to be honest is not really the best way of implementing it. I
think that a good way to do it is to mimic the Enigmail way of executing
gnupg trough an external IPC library but using mixminion (and/or
torsocks/usewithtor scripts to interface optionally the tor network
first) and maybe some options to send more than 5 copies to assure the
mail will arrive. I didn't look yet how the IPC thing is done from the
add-on but I'll try to study it during the following days.

Which I got learning the Mozilla api is a simple add-on which reads the
e-mail fields and pass them to a bash script inside the extension which
is executed by the add-on, calling then mixminion and/or
torsocks/usewithtor first.

Maybe we can join forces/ideas !

See you,

Antonio.
