Dear all,

I am pleased to announce that EDRI (European Digital Rights) has  
joined forces with AEDH (European Association for Human Rights) to  
launch a new initiative intended as a contribution to the European  
Data Protection Day.
The ECSDPA (European Civil Society Data Protection Award) is launched  
today, and the call for nominations is now open. The first ECSDPA  
will be awarded on 28 January 2010. All civil society organizations  
from the 47 Council of Europe Member States are eligible. I hope you  
will participate to the nomination process.
I would be grateful if you could help us disseminate the news. I'm  
attaching to this end AEDH-EDRI press release published today.
