In the security arena, banks are using an integrated approach to video 
surveillance to keep their money out of the hands of criminals. For 
instance, software is now available that creates a database that matches 
a bank customer's picture with his or her ATM card information, Schatt 
says. The result: If a criminal tries to use an ATM card and the video 
surveillance system notes that his face does not match the picture, no 
money is delivered and the card is automatically confiscated.
