TITLE: RFID Malware: How to Infect the Internet of Things
SPEAKER: Melanie R. Rieback
DATE: March 31, 2006 at 11:00:00 AM
LOCATION: Room 7 - Faculty of Science - Povo
ABSTRACT:
Attacks against Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems are currently conceived as properly formatted but fake
RFID data; however no one currently expects an RFID tag to abuse such a data. This talk will discuss how data from RFID
tags can be used to exploit back-end software systems. The discussion will first define RFID malware and will then
describe the application scenarios, attack mechanisms, and implementation details. We will then explain what RFID
middleware writers can do to stop such attacks. The talk will conclude with alive demonstration.

Se qualcuno potesse ospitare in maniera stabile i due file
gliene sarei grato perche' lo spazio che ho io non e' molto
adatto a lunghe permanenze.
Una nota: l'mp3 inizia un po' prima della presentazione vera e propria e
non ho fatto alcuna forma di editing.
Buon convegno E-Privacy! (io purtroppo non potro' venire :(( )

to be available using the terms of the GPL".
