Cari tutti,

mi arriva quest'altra richiesta da Sjoera Nas di Bits of Freedom,
redattrice di EDRI-Gram:

« Last but not least: Please let me know _soon_ how your national
lobbying is going against data retention. In NL we are working
very hard on getting support for 2 blocking motions which will be
voted in the Lower House plenary on 2 June, at 12:30
PM. Simultaneously, we are working on the Senate to also - in
their preparatory meeting tomorrow- set a block on any further 3d
Pillar negotiations on data retention. Today Bits of Freedom and
the national consumer union are sending an urgent letter to the
relevant Senate members, asking them to stop Donner from any
further negotiations and follow proper legal procedure. Our
    protest is focussed on proportionality.

Also, we expect the results of the admittedly first research in
Europe (!) into the need and necessity of systematic data
retention on 21 June 2005, long after the deadline of the JHA
Council. The research is conducted by the Erasmus University
Rotterdam. We are very afraid of the outcomes. [...]

I wouldn't dare to write about just Dutch news in EDRI-gram :-) ,
so please help me if you can with relevant updates about
developments in your country. (Hey Germany, how are you doing?)
Otherwise, I'll skip that item. »

Qualcuno ha dei dati utili da fornire a Sjoera?

Ciao,
