questo e' arrivato una decina di giorni fa sulla mailing list di MUTE,

il mittente e'  Jason Rohrer, lo sviluppatore di MUTE, che secondo me 
e' un bel tipo, nel senso che crede in quello che fa e punta 
soprattutto all'efficienza del suo codice e al modo in cui esso 
implementa tecniche di protezione della privacy, piuttosto che sulle 
caratteristiche aggiuntive da download-addicted che la gente gli 
chiede con insistenza (download resume, chat integrata, etc.).
potete trovare qualche sua dichiarazione sulla liberta' di espressione 
e le leggi sul copyright su www.copydown.org - usate il motore di 
ricerca che trovate sulla destra.
Rohrer ha iniziato il progetto e lo sta riprendendo in mano in questi 
giorni, dopo alcuni mesi in cui lo sviluppo si era fermato alla 
versione 3, dando contemporaneamente il via allo sviluppo di altri 
programmi basati su MUTE.

Some news for the MUTE community:
First off, kudos to all of those people who have been working on 
third-party MUTE clients and spin-offs of various kinds.  From what I 
hear, MFC-MUTE is coming along nicely (though I don't have easy 
access to a windows machine here...).

Now I am gearing up for the next round of MUTE development, and I have 
put a new fund-raising system in place.  The next milestone is a 
translation system.  Check out the MUTE website for details:
