Salve a tutti,
il sito tedesco tecChannel ha pubblicato un articolo che riguarda windows
update e in particolare le informazioni che vengono inviate a MS quando si
effettua un aggiornamento.

"When you connect your computer to Microsofts website windowsupdate.com, you
reveal a lot of information about your computer to Microsoft. This article
shows bit for bit, which data is transferred to Redmond and what Microsoft
could learn from it."

L'articolo e` a pagamento e non puo` essere letto per intero, ma e`

Si noti che nelle nuove versioni di sistemi operativi MS non compare piu` la
scritta che diceva che nessuna informazione sarebbe stata inviata, ma adesso
appare un piu` generico:

"Windows Update is committed to protecting your privacy. To provide you with
the appropriate list of updates, Windows Update must collect a certain
amount of configuration information from your computer. None of this
configuration information can be used to identify you."
